Victoria Falls Zimbabwe

One of the most spectacular Natural Wonders of the World, and World Heritage site, the Victoria Falls divides the borders of Zimbabwe and Zambia, and will always be the highlight of any visit to Zambia and Zimbabwe. Many of Zimbabwe’s National Parks, such as Victoria Falls, Mana Pools and Hwange, are renowned worldwide, though the country also has lesser-known gems such as Chizarira and Gonarezhou.

The Victoria Falls Hotel

A Leading Hotel of the World, this five star hotel is the Grande Dame of colonial, Edwardian elegance. The Victoria Falls hotel is steeped in history and has
hosted many famous leaders in its time. The Zambezi River dives into a sheersided canyon forming the Mosi-oa-Tunya “the smoke that thunders”, creating the largest curtain of water in the world. On 17 November 1855 the great missionary explorer David Livingstone was taken by dug-out canoe down the Zambezi River to see Mosi-oa-tunya.
Some of the activities we arrange at the Falls include: A guided tour of the Falls, a helicopter or microlight “Flight of the Angels” over the Falls, a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi, a visit to an African village, a day trip to Chobe National Park, and for the more adventurous, white water rafting and bungee jumping.
